Call for Workshops (pdf)
IFIP Networking 2017 Conference and Workshops, to be held in Stockholm, Sweden on June 12-15, 2017, is soliciting proposals for one-day workshops to be co-located with the conference. Workshops will be held on Monday (June 12) during the conference week. Accepted papers will be published in the IFIP Digital Library as open access and submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Workshops should be on timely topics related to the areas of the IFIP Networking conference, and should have a format encouraging interaction and community building. Workshops can take different styles, for example, targeting students, specialising on a scientific topic area, or fostering interaction between academia and industry.
Workshop proposals should include the following information:
- A motivation for and description of the workshop, including its relevance for the IFIP Networking community
- A draft call for papers for the workshop
- Names and affiliations of main organisers
- An estimate, as far this is possible, of the number of submissions, accepted papers and attendees
- Plans for advertising
- Plans for recommending extended version of accepted papers to journals (if any)
- Past history of the workshop (if any), and/or comparison/relation to other, similar, workshops
