IFIP Networking 2026 will be held exclusively in-person.

    Each paper must be presented at the conference by one of the authors during dedicated sessions.

    A paper not presented or presented by a substitute without prior written approval from the TPC co-chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings and will not be made available in the IFIP Digital Library and IEEE Xplore Digital Library and no refund will be given for conference registration.

    At least one author of an accepted paper in the main conference must register at the FULL rate even if the author is a student (option “Author - Workshops + Conference”).

    At least one author of an accepted paper in a workshop must register at the one-day workshop rate (option “Author – Workshops”) or at the conference+workshops rate (option “Author - Workshops + Conference”).

    A PhD student with an accepted extended abstract can register at the special rate for PhD Forum students (option “PhD Forum Student - Workshops + Conference”).

    A “Workshop Only” registration grants access ONLY to the workshops’ day (March 24), while a “Workshops + Conference” registration grants access to the whole conference (including workshops).

    An “Author - Workshop Only” registration covers up to two workshop papers.

    An “Author - Workshops + Conference” covers:

    • One paper in the main track 
    • One paper in the main track + One workshop paper
    • One paper in the main track + One demo or poster paper
    • One paper in the main track + One PhD Forum extended abstract
    • One workshop paper + One demo or poster paper
    • One workshop paper + One PhD Forum extended abstract
    • Two demo papers
    • Two poster papers
    • One demo and one poster paper
    • Two workshop papers

    Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IFIP Digital Library as well as will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

    The full registration fees include lunches and coffee breaks on each day of the conference, the social dinner, the welcome reception, all materials and accessories for participants.

    Student and PhD Forum Student registrations do NOT include the Gala Dinner (boat tour on the wonderful Lugano lake).

    If a student wants to attend the Gala Dinner, she/he can buy a ticket during registration by selecting the “Gala Dinner +1” option, at the cost of 160€.

    The “Gala Dinner +1 (160€)” option can also be used by Authors and Non Authors with full registration to purchase an additional ticket for someone else.

    To qualify for IEEE or IFIP member rates, the membership number must be provided in the registration form. All individual members of IFIP member societies, as well as members of IFIP Technical Committees and Working Groups, are entitled to the discount.

    A valid student ID-card has to be provided along with the registration to qualify for student registration fees.     All registration fees include 22% Italian VAT.

    Change and Cancelation policies

    In case of an emergency that prevents the original presenter from attending, the registration may be transferred to another presenter, subject to the prior agreement of the TPC co-chairs within 7 days before the start of the conference.

    In case a request for cancelation takes place on May 1, 2026 or before, the paid conference fee, reduced by the administration fee of 100 €, shall be reimbursed to the Participant within 14 days from the date of receiving by the Organizer a written statement of withdrawal from the conference participation by the Participant. In case of card payment the amount shall be reimbursed directly to the Participant’s card.

    If the request for cancelation takes place after May 1, 2026, and/or a Participant fails to attend the conference, the conference fee shall not be reimbursed.
