The conference will take place in the "SuperC" building. This is RWTH's service centre for students and located right next to the main building. The cornerstone was layed in January 2007 and the rector of the RWTH Aachen Dr. Burkhard Rauhut opened the centre on 28 July 2008 in the presence of about 200 guests including the mayor of Aachen.

SuperC looks like a very big C - thus its name. The whole building takes 750m² of place and is seven floors high. Its glass front is intented to symbolise RWTH's openness to the city. A highlight feature of the new building is a combined heating/cooling system, which is powered by geothermal energy. The used thermal ground probe reaches to a depth of 2500 meters.
