Information for Authors

Congratulations to authors with accepted papers.

Please note that the due date for your final paper for publication in the conference proceedings is February 28, 2005. Further instructions on submission of your camera ready paper can be found on the conference Web site under Information for Authors at: networking2005/topics/info_authors.html

The deadline for author registration has been moved to March 2, 2005. Electronic registration must be completed by that time or the paper will not be forwarded to LNCS for publication. Payment for the registration may follow by regular mail if necessary.

Please prepare the final version of your paper by taking the reviewers comments into consideration. The final version must adhere to the formatting standard for a 12-page manuscript of Springer-Verlag LNCS, see

To allow us to verify adherence to these instructions, please submit a PDF version of your file through EDAS by February 21 and verify that your paper has been properly uploaded. By February 28 at the latest, the following information has to be received by the publication chair:

  1. Completed copyright form
    (by fax at: +1 (613) 520-5727).
  2. Source (input) files:
    1. For example, LaTeX2e files for the text and PS or EPS files for figures.
    2. Final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX).
    3. Final PS file (please avoid using the option "reverse order").
    4. Final PDF file (if possible).
    5. RTF files (for word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX).
  3. Contact information (i.e., e-mail address) for lead author.

The source input files should be sent by e-mail to: networking2005 at

Please note again that all material MUST be received by the publication chair no later than February 28. Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in the omission of your paper from the conference proceedings. Once Springer has processed your paper for printing and for electronic publishing, they will contact the lead author to verify the correctness of the paper.

Questions regarding the submission of the source input files should be directed to the publications chair:
