Camera
Ready Paper Submission Guidelines
Notification
of acceptance was already sent to authors. To ensure that the accepted
papers are published in the conference proceedings, the authors
are required to complete the following task by the stated deadlines:
- Camera-ready papers are to
be submitted online by 23:59hrs, February 25, 2008
(GMT).
- At least one author in the
paper must be registered (as a Regular Registration type) by
23:59hrs, February 28, 2008 (GMT). Each
regular registration enables submission of up to Two (2) papers.
Please refer to the registration instructions on the conference
website.
These are HARD deadline due to the
tight schedule. The author’s paper will NOT be published in
the conference proceedings if the deadlines are not met. No appeals
will be accepted.
For submission of
the camera ready manuscripts, please complete the following by 23:59hrs,
February 25, 2008 (GMT):
1) Formatting
the Camera Ready Manuscript
Authors are strictly required to adhere to the formatting standard
for a 12-page manuscript (if accepted as full papers) or an 8-page
manuscript (if accepted as short papers) of Springer LNCS in preparing
the camera ready version of their contribution. Information on the
formatting can be found using the link “Information for LNCS
Authors” at the Springer website (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).
Failure to adhere to the formatting standards WILL result in the
removal of the author’s paper from the conference proceedings.
A maximum of two (2) additional pages are allowed at S$400/page
for papers exceeding the 12-page limit (for full papers) or the
8-page limit (for short papers).
Please make sure
that the paper title and authors' names in the header of the paper
is written as they are to appear in the final Table of Contents
and Author Index, as the final Table of Contents and the final Author
Index for the proceedings are generated from the headers.
Also, the review
comments included in the acceptance notification must be taken into
account.
2) Download
and complete the copyright form
Download, complete and sign the IFIP copyright form (Download
here). Digital signatures are also accepted (for example, signed
using a stylus on a tablet). All manuscripts must be accompanied
by a signed copyright form. Please note that failure to submit the
completed and signed copyright form may result in the exclusion
of the paper from the conference proceedings.
3) Download
and complete the authors information form
Download and complete the authors’ information form (Download
here). Please note that the contact author must be contactable
via email from the time of submission until 31 March 2008.
4) Online
Submission (Online submission is NOT done using the EDAS system)
For submission, please
provide a single compressed ZIP archive containing the following:
- the source (input)
files
- LaTeX2e files
for the text and PS/EPS or PDF/JPG files for all figures;
- RTF files
(if you have prepared your paper using a word processing system
other than LATEX or TEX);
- any style
files, templates, and special fonts you may have used;
- the final
DVI file (for papers prepared using LATEX or TEX);
- a PDF file of
the final version of the paper.
- the completed
and signed IFIP copyright form (in PDF, DOC, RTF or JPEG)
- the authors information
form
The Zip file containing
the above must be uploaded using the conference submission system
at http://confweb.cais.ntu.edu.sg/~ifip2008/CAMERA-READY/.
To upload your paper, enter your EDAS paper ID (as assigned by EDAS
when the paper was submitted for review) and follow the instructions
given. The maximum size of the uploaded file is 10MB. If your file
exceeds this limit, kindly email your file to askjwong@ntu.edu.sg
and ifip_networking08@ntu.edu.sg
with the email heading [Networking 2008 CRP] ##, where ## is your
10-digit EDAS paper ID.
