Evening of June 12th, we will be having a welcome reception for all the conference attendees at Jardins del Rectorat. The rectorate of UPC is surrounded by nice gardens, a small lake, and a small church hosting a supercomputer. Yes, that is right, a small church hosting a supercomputer. Attendees will be able to enjoy food and drinks in such an environment during the welcome reception and, who knows?, it may be possible to visit the supercomputer.

Attendees to IFIP Networking 2023 will have a free pass to visit "El Poble Espanyol", located at walking distance from "Plaça Espanya" and the "Montjuïc Fountains". El Poble Espanyol, founded in 1929 during the Barcelona Universal Exhibition, is an open-air museum that gathers 117 replicas of buildings from all around Spain. This way, the visitor gets to see the architectural styles of the different areas of this country. After visiting Poble Espanyol, attendees will be offered a full meal at the restaurant "La Font de Prades", which is conveniently located within El Poble Espanyol and provide a nice variety of dishes from the traditional Catalan cuisine.
