  • Skavsta (about 100kms South of the city, serves Ryanair and Wizzair):

Getting around

Stockholm has an efficient public transportation system, consisting of buses, trams, subways, commuter trains and boats. The public transportation system is managed by SL. You typically need to purchase a ticket before boarding public transportation. Most tickets have to be loaded on a travel card called SL Access, which can be purchased for 20 SEK at subways stops and at SL service centers, and can be loaded multiple times. For more information on tickets and fares please visit SL's website.
