Call for Tutorials

    The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Networking 2024 Conference (IFIP NETWORKING 2024) will be held in Aristotle University, in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, Greece, June 3-6, 2024. This is the 23rd event of the series, sponsored by the IFIP Technical Committee on Communication Systems (TC6). High quality papers will be recommended for fast-track publications in selected journals.

    The main objective of IFIP NETWORKING 2024 is to bring together members of the networking community, from both academia and industry, to discuss recent advances in the broad and quickly-evolving fields of computer and communication networks, to highlight key issues, identify trends, and develop a vision for future Internet technology, operation, and use.

    Call for Tutorial Proposals

    The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Networking 2024 Conference (IFIP NETWORKING 2024) seeks 1-2 hours tutorial proposals from academia and industry on emerging topics related to computer and communication networking.

    Tutorial's organizers will be given the opportunity to present a paper written in English by following the IEEE conference format (double-column, 10pt font), with a maximum length limit of 6 (six) printed pages, including all figures, references, and appendices. Papers will appear in the conference proceedings and will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

    Submission Guidelines

    The tutorial proposal must be submitted in a PDF file not exceeding 5 pages through email to the three TPC charis (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The proposal should include the following information:

    • Title, abstract, objectives and motivation.
    • Name, affiliation and short bio of tutorial presenters.
    • Target audience for the tutorial
    • Description of the main topic to be addressed in the tutorial.
    • Description of the tutorial content, tentative schedule, and presenters for
    • each section.
    • Previous experiences of the presenters regarding the topic of the tutorial.

    Important Dates

    • Tutorial submission deadline: April 30, 2024
    • Notification of acceptance: May 3, 2024
